Philmont 2020--Important! Please Read posted 01/15/19

Troop 17 will be heading to Philmont Scout Ranch in July of 2020 and now is the time to sign up if you are interested. We have 18 spots available for 14 Scouts and 4 adults. We will be in the back country from 7/9/2020 to 7/21/2020. Figure a day or two on either side for travel. The cost estimate is $1025. Scouts must be First Class before we leave and must be 14 years old on January 1, 2020. No money is due now but we would expect that anyone registering is committing to attend the event. The Troop is going to put a deposit down with Philmont for 18 people by the end of this month so please discuss this with your family and RSVP to me ASAP. There is not a firm deadline to register at this point but the Troops Philmont Committee does take the order people register into consideration when building the crews.
