The Canoeing Campout is coming up on the weekend of May 3-5. The Scouts of Troop 17 have been canoeing the Brazos for many years and this campout is one the favorites that you will not want to miss. We need several dads to join us on this trip, so please come to the meeting tonight and sign up to help out on this exciting adventure on the river. No experience necessary. On the job training is offered. We do ask that adults going with us please visit my.scouting.org and go through the training videos and become certified in 1) Youth Protection Training 2) Safe Swim Defense and 3) Safety Afloat before the weekend of the campout. The training is simple and can be knocked out fairly quickly. Thank you. Mr Harveson
