Yes...we are still going canoeing this weekend. No...we will not be canoeing the Brazos. The Brazos River Authority is releasing too much water from The Possum Kingdom damn for the Troop to be able to safely canoe on the river this weekend. Instead we will take our canoes to one of the area lakes and spend Saturday honing our paddling skills. No need pack or prepare any differently. See you this afternoon at the scout lodge at 5:30.
