Lets go camping!! The fall camping season is upon us and we are starting out with two of Troop 17s most popular tripsSchlitterbahn this weekend and Bouldering in October!! The permission slip and poop sheet for the Schlitterbahn campout are posted on the home page of the troop website. Just click on the Campout Info link on the lower portion of the page and you will find the packing list and all of the pertinent information. Please review this packing list and bring all gear listed. Scouts please come to the meeting tomorrow with your signed permission slip and money and turn them in to your patrol leader. As always, cash is preferred since the patrol leader will be taking this money to the store and shopping for the patrol on Thursday night prior to our Friday departure. We will be camping at the McGimsey Scout Park in San Antonio which is about 40 minutes from the water park. Scouts will need to select a tent mate (from within your patrol) on Tuesday night. Only 2 scouts per tent and no mega-tents please. All new scouts (those of you that have joined since May) need to turn in a BSA Informed Consent, Release Agreement and Authorization Form as well as a General History/Health History Form.
