Kandersteg 2010 and Rangers Fundraising Update posted 07/27/09

So far we have raised $6400 toward the Kandersteg Trip. Our biggest opportunity is coming up during August and September with our concessions fundraisers. If the Rangers make the playoffs, our concessions may continue into October! Please take the brief moment and go to www.troop17.net and register for our concession stand at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington. Thank you to those who have already signed up. Concessions managers will meet during the regular scout meeting tomorrow, July 28, 2009 to refresh their training and plan. All TABC trained workers will meet during the regular scout meting next week, August 4, 2009 to learn what we need to do on game days. The Kandersteg planning group met last week. We have made our deposit to Kandersteg International Scout Center (KISC) and are beginning the detailed planning of our activities and itinerary. We expect to leave during the first week in July 2010. Our first payment will be a non-refundable deposit of $250 due to Troop 17 no later than October 1, 2009. Eveie and Joe reminded me that are ar willing to take your money anytime. This deposit will hold your spot on the trip. We are developing a payment plan and refund policy. Look for more information at our next Court of Honor in September. A new troop calendar, with the dates of the trip will be issued soon.
