I have a service opportunity for anyone that is available this afternoon. Im helping with the Tarrant Area Food Bank and Southcliff Baptist Church distributing food and the logistics of getting vehicles queued up safely around the church. Weve got over a mile long route for cars to follow as they wait to get to the front of the church. There is minimal in person contact as we direct traffic and people are in their cars. Any youth volunteering must be 15 or older and must have a parent present if they are under 18. Well be out in the sun so wear something cool and comfortable. Weve been asked to be a part of the church volunteer pool so its not necessary to come in your scout uniform. Cars line up starting around 3pm and we wrap up between 6:30 and 7:00just in time for our virtual troop meeting. If you and a parent can come help, park in the lot to the far east of the church of Hildring Drive East. Check in inside the lobby and head over to the west parking lot. Ill be over on Walden near the service road. Texting me that you are coming is probably a good idea also. Thanks, Mr. Turner
