Scouts and Scouters, I forgot to mention that the First Aid Merit Badge will meet with Dr. Mandel at 7pm this evening. Scouts that worked on the First Aid MB at Worth Ranch should attend. A scout is Helpful. St Stephens Presbyterian church is seeking help assembling sack lunches together for the homeless. Every Tuesday they need one Scout for the morning shift and one Scout for the afternoon shift. They practice Social Distancing and wear masks while providing these services. Scouts will have several opportunities to serve because this event should be going on through August. As a reminder, Scouts need service hours for rank advancement. Matt Loynachan is the contact person at St. Stephen and can be reached by text at (817) 320-2519. Please contact him if you are interested. Its a great way to help. Finally, due to the recent increase in state-mandated restrictions due to the rise in Covid-19 cases, we ask that scouts use the patrol method during meetings and remain in separate groups of 10 or less. This will involve increased spacing during the flag raising and closing. Please also wear a mask and refrain from attending the meeting if you have been exhibiting any symptoms of Covid-19.
