Happy Monday to everyone! Hopefully yours was better than mine :). Tomorrow is Tuesday and we will be having our normal Troop meeting at 7:30pm. At 6:30 pm, the Webelos II Scouts from Pack 350 will be bridging into the Troop with the OA providing the ceremony. Everyone is welcome to attend. Find out more about OA after the ceremony also. At 6:45 pm, Mr. Peterson will be holding the first Architectural Merit Badge class. They will be discussing careers in architecture, educational requirements, tools and the building process. They will then discuss how to draw a scaled floor plan. Please bring a notepad, two sharpened pencils, and the merit badge book (if you have it yet it is not required for this meeting). On Saturday, we will be having a service project at Greenbriar Community Center near Hemphill and I20. If you need service hours please plan on attending. Everyone that attended the Kandersteg trip should plan on participating. This will satisfy your grant requirement. More info at the Troop meeting and online shortly. We also have a service opportunity with TCU and Youth World. We need 10 20 boys to spend an hour or so at Target on Eastchase at 9:00 am on December 18th. They will be helping some underprivileged children shop for gifts for themselves. TCU and Youth World have already raised the funds all we need to do is be a mentor for the children while they pick out their gifts. Please sign up in the Scout Lodge on Tuesday!
