From Mr. Edmonds... PMMB scouts and their parents, As I mentioned on 16 November, we have finished with classes for this MB. We met six times in three months and covered the requirements and most of the material in the pamphlet. You guys have been an outstanding group and there is no reason why none of you should not earn the badge. The only way you will not earn PM is by not finishing the requirements and turning them in to me by the absolute final, no excuses, no tears deadline of 14 Feb 2011. If you miss the deadline you have not learned good personal management and will have the opportunity to attend classes again next September. Questions?? Call me 817-805-3248 or write me a very short note (because there is not much room) on a $20 bill! Parents, I plan one last meeting in which you will be invited and encouraged to attend. A representative from The Johnson OConnor Research Foundation will speak to our group on aptitudes next next month, hopefully on Tuesday, 11 January. (I had hoped on an earlier date, but scheduling was not possible) Once the date is confirmed I will let you know. The boys all know the standards I have set for this MB. All the requirements must be written out and in a paper notebook with brads and pockets. I expect complete, well crafted answers bit a bit of heft. No light weight work in this Eagle required MB class. The sooner the work is turned in the better, unless of course they really might enjoy writing an essay on "the evils of procrastination". Thank you for the opportunity of working with your boys, they have been very polite and attentive, and just a real pleasure to teach. Yours in Scouting, Mr. Edmonds From Mr. Peterson... Hey Architectural MB scouts, We will meet at 6:45 pm this Tuesday, December 7th, at the Harry R. Male Scout Lodge. We will be discussing Architectural History and significant local Buildings. Please bring your merit badge workbook and two sharpened pencils. Dont forget to bring the scaled drawing of your bedroom floor plan showing walls, doors, windows, closets and furniture. Thanks, Mr. Peterson
