Scouts and Scouters, <br><br> We will meet this evening at 7:30 at the Scout lodge for our weekly meeting. As a reminder, please wear a mask when inside the lodge. Lets hope latest variant wave will pass. <br><br> At the meeting, the troop will host an election for candidates to the Order of the Arrow. The Order of the Arrow is an honor camping society within the Scouts. It is know as the brotherhood of cheerful service. A number of our scouts and adults are members. Please make an effort to be at the meeting as we will need a quorum of 50% to hold the election. <br><br> We will host a makeup session for the Eagle required Personal Management merit badge this evening at 6:45. This merit badge will include lessons on financial literacy. If you are eighth grade or higher and did not attend the previous session then please join us. <br><br> On Sunday at 1:30, Lily B Clayton Elementary will celebrate its 100th anniversary. Scouts from troop 17 will serve as the color guard for the Centennial celebration. We need six scouts for the flag raising ceremony. Please consider volunteering for this event.
