Scouts and Scouters, <br><br> The Brazos River trip is upon us. A couple of notes: <br><br> It will be hot on Saturday, so please bring light clothing and at least two Nalgeens full of water. You will have opportunities to refill those along the way. Please also wear a wide brimmed hat and sunscreen. <br><br> If you have a PFD (life vest) then please bring it. If you dont have one, Worth Ranch will provide one for you. We have enough Waterproof Blue Barrels for each patrol to carry lunch and other items that you want to keep dry. Please also bring some rope for safety lines and to tie down any gear that you wish to keep. <br><br> The poop sheet states that we will arrive around 4pm on Sunday. I anticipate that we will get an earlier start and will likely return around 2 so that families can enjoy Mothers day. Please also bring some spending money to use at Mr. Cs convenience store on the way home. <br><br> Im very excited about this unique opportunity to explore one of the few wild and scenic rivers in the State of Texas. <br><br> Mr. Virden
