Upcoming events- Tuesday: Scout Meeting. For those needing Scoutmaster conferences (including religious award conferences), and already on my list, I will be at the Scout Lodge at 6:30 pm tomorrow. Wednesday: Troop Committee Meeting. 7:30 at the Scout Lodge. All are welcome. This is the monthly business meeting of the Troop. Thursday: Philmont Crew prep session 7:00 pm at the Scout Lodge. See the website blog for more information. Saturday: Troop Fundraiser at University Baptist Church 3:30 pm. Sign up on Tuesday night to work or work and bring a lasagna. Instructions are on the website under Current News. This is a fundraiser for the Troop and a great opportunity to provide service to one of our favorite Cub Scout Packs, Pack 350. March 25-27: Cycling Campout. Dig out your bike now and try it out again to be prepared for this campout. April 2nd: Worth Ranch Work Day. Troop 17 continues to build new concrete platforms for summer camp use. All Scouts, parents and friends are welcome to attend. No skills required. Other notes: We had 3 new Scouts bridge into the Troop on Friday. Please be sure to welcome them and their family at the Scout Lodge. We will be having a new parent meeting soon. With several new Scouts in the Troop, we may have to shuffle some patrols. The SPL will have more information on that soon. Philmont attendees should check out the Preparation Blog on the website.
