Scouts and Scouters, <br><br> October is a busy month and we have a number of events planned. <br><br> Next Tuesday, October 25th the staff is hosting a Halloween party that includes a Haunted Scout Lodge and Costume competition. Please wear your favorite costume. Bring a friend. <br><br> On Saturday, October 29th, Trop 17 will volunteer at the Presbyterian Night Shelter for a Day of Service. We will work from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm. The service will include cleaning, landscape work, painting, etc. We must submit a list of volunteers by next Tuesday, so please email the scoutmaster if you are able to serve. Lunch will be provided for all volunteers. It is a great way to support our community. <br><br> On Sunday, October 30th at 3pm Jackson Grace will receive the rank of Eagle Scout at a Court of Honor. The ceremony will take place on the lawn behind the Scout Lodge. Please make plans to attend the ceremony and honor Jackson for all of his accomplishments. <br><br> Mr. Virden
