Scouts and Scouters, <br><br> Its cold outside. The forecast looks bleak. If the roads are treacherous then we will not meet tomorrow evening. Safety first. We will send an announcement if the meeting is cancelled. <br><br> The good news is that the weather looks great for the shooting sports campout this weekend with sunshine and 60 degree temps during the days and cool nights. Since we may not meet tomorrow night, patrol leaders must contact their scouts to get a head count for the campout. Patrol leaders normally collect campout fees and permission slips from the scouts and make menu plans during the meeting. You will have to improvise, adapt and overcome this obstacle. Communication is key. Please prepare your menu for the campout and then call Mr Goldthwaite, Mr Bearden or me to review the menu. You may also email the menu to Scoutmaster@troop17.net. <br><br> Scout Sunday is February 12th. We will show our reverence and appreciation for our sponsor, St Stephen Presbyterian church by attending the 11am service that day. Attendance is required.
