Scouts and Scouters, <br><br> The Master Chef campout is scheduled for next weekend. This will be a test of our collective culinary skills. Parents are especially welcome to join us this weekend to serve as judges in the competition. The poop sheet and gear list have been posted. <br><br> On Tuesday, the troop will hold the elections for membership in the Order of the Arrow, an honor camping society known as the Brotherhood of Cheerful Service. Please attend the meeting to vote on your peers. We need at least 50% participation to form a quorum and vote. <br><br> Our next fundraising effort for Kandersteg will be the camp cards. We are looking for an adult to coordinate this effort. Its an easy task. Please let me know if you are willing to help. No experience necessary. <br><br> In other fundraising news, Troop 17 will host a rummage sale of Saturday, March, 25th. We will host an item drop off on Tuesday, March 7th. We are in need of some additional large items like furniture. Please drop off your treasures on March 7th. <br><br> And last but not least, Troop 17 will host a court of honor on Tuesday, March 21st. This is a time to recognize scouts rank advancement and merit badges in a formal ceremony. Please make plans to attend. <br><br> That is all. Mr. Virden.
