Time to kick off the Troop 17 Fall camping season with our annual migration to Schlitterbahn (English: Slippery Road) in New Braunfels! Please endeavor to arrive at the scout lodge no later than the scheduled time of 5:30pm today. It is a long drive to Canyon Lake and we want all the generous dads driving to leave the scout lodge in a timely fashion. Tomorrow we will all enjoy the exciting water slides and laziest of rivers as we cool off from another long Texas summer. On Sunday we expect a later than usual arrival time and your scouts will call from the road with an update ETA. Mr. Lunsford
