Ahoy Scouts and Parents, <br><br> Having been in contact with The Boatwerks at Harry R Male Shipyards this morning I have some unfortunate news. The boatwerks is severely lacking in supplies for an expected upcoming order to build cardboard boats in support of a regatta. The are asking for the following supplies to be donated and are accepting donations starting tonight. <br><br> 1. LARGE cardboard boxes for boat hulls <br> 2. STURDY cardboard boxes for seats and fixtures <br> 3. Leftover or "OOPS" paint <br> 4. Varnish to seal the boats (water based polyurethane is probably a good substitute) <br> 5. Reinforced paper tape OR duct tape but the paper tape is better <br> 6. Used or cheap paintbrushes (novice shipwrights are notoriously bad painters and most likely wont properly take care of these so please dont expect them to be returned) <br><br> Fair winds and following seas, <br> Capt.
