We will be starting two merit badges in the coming weeks. Mr. Bogle will be leading the Fishing Merit Badge starting this week. These are not formal classes. He will be availale at the Scout lodge starting at 6:30 on Tuesdays beginning this week. Anyone interested in coming should get the Fishing Merit Badge book and review it prior to attending. This is a great opportunity to get ready for the fishing and cooking campout next month. And from Mr. Edmonds... Attention Scouts of Troop 17: Are you back in school wondering why you dont have enough time to finish homework, text friends, work on merit badges, or just have time to relax and play a video game??? Are you broke, no money in your pocket, almost desperate enough to crack open your piggy bank??? Or maybe youve been reading the Wall Street Journal and think now is a good time for some kind of investment. If this sounds like you, well, youre in luck! Personal Management Merit Badge will soon be offered at the Harry Male Scout Lodge. Yes its true, for the price of a pamphlet, you will have the opportunity to change your life and make a great investment.......in yourself! You must be at least 1st Class and at least 14 to take this course. We will start on Tuesday, September the 20th, at 6:30 pm. So, buy the pamphlet, read the requirements and study the section on time management. Bring your pamphlet, a paper folder notebook with pockets and brads, a pen and notebook paper. Ill see you there and "Be Prepared" to amaze yourself through Personal Management.
