FUND RAISING UPDATE! After just two TCU games, we have raised $1,150 and two of our larger opportunities are yet to come. In seven games last year, we raised $3,100. This Saturday, TCU plays SMU. It will be sold out. Even though SMU is the enemy, we will take their money. SMU will be on our side of the stadium. I need a few more scouts and parents to help. Report time is 10:30 a.m. Game time is 2:30 p.m. on national TV. Saturday, October 8 is the Texas/OU game at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas during the State Fair. It is also a troop campout weekend. If you are not camping, we can use all the help that we can get. In just one game last year, we earned $1,100. Report time is 7 a.m. Game time is 11 a.m. You get into the State Fair for free and those corny dogs are awesome. There is now a contest for the patrol with the greatest participation. The winning patrol will have dinner cooked for them at the Flour Way campout in December by the OF. Does fried turkey ring a bell?
