(Parents and friends, if you have updated contact information for any of our Eagles, please forward this on.) Attention Eagle Scouts - we have a great opportunity for you to assist your Troop. This weekend we have a concession stand at the Texas vs. Oklahoma and this is the single largest one day fundraising event we have all year. Regretfully, it is also a campout weekend. So consider this my personal challenge to anyone that is in town and available...help your Troop out by volunteering for this fundraiser. As a thank you, you also get into the State Fair of Texas absolutely free. Stay after the game and enjoy this years Big Tex Choice Award winning "buffalo chicken in a flapjack" and "fried bubblegum". Other items this year include "deep fried pineapple upside down cake", "deep fried Texas salsa" and a "walking taco".
