Good Morning! Thanks to everyone that helped at the Texas/OU game - we raised over $700! This past weekend the Troop also headed to a new camp location for us. We spent the weekend at Camp Clements near Athens, Texas. We had a great time fishing and hiking in the East Texas woods. We only got about 30 seconds of rain but were thankful to hear that Fort Worth (and Worth Ranch) got lots of rain while we were gone. Our next campout is November 12th and we are keeping our fingers crossed that the burn ban will be lifted by then. Scouts, please invite your parents, friends, and relatives to the Court of Honor next Tuesday (October 18th) at St. Stephen Church. This will be held at 7:30 in the church building instead of our normal meeting. We will formally present all rank advancements and merit badges at this event. We will also be announcing several Scout promotions and position changes in addition to announcing the Honor Scout and Honor Patrol awards. October 25th is the annual Troop Halloween party at the Scout Lodge. Watch for more information from your staff on the costume contest and things to bring. October 22nd is the next TCU football game. Sign up online or at the Scout meeting. We also have several Eagle projects coming up over the next few weekends. Watch for more information from the Eagle candidates. I am out of town this week on business and will not be at the meeting tonight. Mr. Bogle and Mr. Rekeita will be there to address any questions. Thank you, Mr. Turner
