Scouts and Friends, I hope you all enjoyed your Thanksgiving and have now gotten your holiday shopping started. Remember, camping gear makes great presents. If you need a gear list or any recommendations, come to a Troop meeting. There are plenty of people with opinions hanging around the lodge at every meeting. As we approach the new year, I have changed the format of our online calendar. I have given up on our existing open source calendar and migrated all of our events to a Google calendar. By moving to Googles offering, you can now subscribe to the calendar and automatically get updates in your own personal calendars. Both the iPhone and Microsoft Outlook support the iCal standard. We have some scheduled/event conflicts with other Scouting events in the camps we want to attend in the spring. Hopefully, the staff and I can work those out tomorrow night. December is set and so is January. Invitations to the January campout will be going out after the Flour War campout. If you are a 1st Class Scout or above, you should plan on attending. Please remember your money and permission slip tomorrow. We need a firm count of attendees for the campout. Tomorrow night we will also announce the winning patrol that will eat with the OF Saturday night. Wednesday night is also the Troop Committee Meeting at the Scout Lodge at 7:30. This is the business meeting for the Troop. Everyone is welcome to attend. If you have not paid your dues, you are overdue. See you tomorrow, Mr. Turner
