    For the scouts in PMMB class;
 
It looks like you are off to a great beginning in personal management and in "taking control of you life".  Our second meeting will Tuesday, September 8th, at 6:30 pm at the HMSL (Harry Male Scout Lodge).  Please make every effort to be on time and dont forget to bring the tools of the trade, aka; paper notebook with brads & pockets, paper, working pen and the PMMB pamphlet. ( If you dont have these items by now, then you are behind the curve in "taking control of your life")
 
Last Tuesday we discussed the standards I set for the class. EVERY REQUIREMENT is to be answered in WRITTEN form, and dont forget, if you use the pamphlet as your guide answering the questions will be much easier. Our class is small, so BE PREPARED, everyone will be called upon to discuss the material de jour.  
 
We began with the section on Planning Your Time pp. 45-53. Requirements 8 & 9 can be completed at anytime, however, DO NOT PROCRASTINATE!  The reason I start this class with this section should be obvious by now. If you adhere to the basic principles outlined in this section, not only will this class be easier for you, but you will also be well on your way to "taking control of your life!"
 
For Tuesday, please read pp. 9-11 as well as the section on Preparing a Personal Budget, pp. 20-25. (and I dont mean skimming through it just before class either!!) You may begin 
your budget (requirement #2) after attending this class.
 
Parents, take a look at the pamphlet, it is an EXCELLENT read! This class will offer those rare opportunities to spend quality time with your son over the next 90 days, and it just could save you and him $$$$ over the years! Ive taught this MB class for 20 years now through all sorts of economic climates.  My goal is to instill fundamental personal management values so your son has a foundation on which to build.
