T17- Big Bend Update posted 07/12/12

I was able to hike about a mile up to the visitor center and access their wireless to send everyone an update. We completed our longest hike today - about 12 mile over 9 and a half hours! Everyone did great and the pictures are amazing! I will post them on Instagram when we drive into cell coverage tomorrow sometime. This is our last night at Big Bend. From here we head east, spending the night tomorrow in Kickapoo Cavern State Park. We then head through the Hill Country and back towards Fort Worth. I will send out and ETA for Saturday night via email with updates from the road. The weather has been fantastic with highs in the 80s a couple of days! Thanks, Mr. Turner
