Several quick notes... Attention scouts who are working toward completion of Citizenship in the Nation and Citizenship in the World Merit Badges! Plan to meet at 6:30 pm at the Harry Male Scout Lodge, to check your progress. If you would like to make a presentation about a country or a current event, please plan on doing so. We will discuss finishing your work and earning these merit badges. We need a bus driver (or drivers) for the New Braunfels trip on the 14th-16th. Please see Mr. Turner or Mr. Rekieta if you are available to assist. There will be a Troop Committee meeting Wednesday night at the Scout Lodge. Everyone is welcome to attend the business meeting of the Troop. Meeting starts at 7:30pm. I am still looking for a few people to sit on our High Adventure Trip 2014 planning committee. If you are interested in helping select the next great adventure for the Troop, please contact me. Our next campout is September 14th-16th. The permission slip is on the front page of the website under "Campout Info". Scouts should let their patrol leader know TONIGHT if they are able to attend. This is going to be a great trip to Schlitterbahn Water Park! All of our other campouts are on the Troop calendar. Please make sure your home calendars have the dates saved! A big thank you goes to Dr. Mathe and the other Labor Day volunteers that helped with the American Flag fundraiser. Dont forget about the TCU game signup online! Go to our site and select Login in the bottom right corner. Once logged in you can click Register to sign up. We have 25 great volunteers for the first TCU game (check out the pictures on our Instagram site!). We definitely need more volunteers for the rest of the games. Thanks, Mr. Turner
