T17 - Activities Tonight and Other Information posted 11/27/12

There is a lot of information coming out as we approach the end of the calendar year. I am going to attempt to split the information into separate emails so that you can be sure to see all of the information that is important to you. TONIGHT - We have a lot of activity going on tonight... 6:30 pm - From Mr. Edmonds - PMMB Scouts - We will meet 27 Nov. at 6:30 pm. Mr. Craig, an OF alumnus and a financial advisor will speak on investing in stocks and bonds. Please read the appropriate section in the pamphlet and come to class prepared. We will need in the Parish Hall wing of the church, in the Library. Go up the stairs at the Parish Hall entrance and go all the way down the hallway to the end and you will run right into the Library. Please be on time and BE PREPARED! Mr. E 6:30 pm - Several staffers are headed to UCC to help with a community service project with Mr. Bogle. Contact the SPL or Mr. Bogle if you need more information. 7:00 pm - We could use several Patrol Leaders and staff members to show up early to be sure that the building is ready for our meeting, including several visiting Webelos! 7:30 pm - Troop meeting. For tonight, we need as many SCOUTS as possible in full uniform to make a great impression on the visiting Webelos! SCOUTS - we have two different Packs visiting tonight. We need more shorter Scouts to help fill the ranks! We also need ADULTS, especially those with some experience with camping with the troop, at the meeting tonight to help answer questions from the visiting Webelo parents. Half of recruiting Scouts is recruiting the parents! If you have a good story to tell about T17, please try to make the meeting. More emails to follow... Mr. Turner
