(MB messages were already sent to the Scouts that have subscribed to updates in the blogs) Happy New Year to PMMB scouts! The clock is ticking! Tick Tock !!! I do hope you have been using your time management skills and self discipline these last few weeks to be finishing all requirements. Mr. Craig plans on meeting with us next week, Tuesday, January the 15th at 6:30 pm. Once again prior to class read over the requirements and section in the pamphlet that focuses on investing in stocks, bonds and mutual funds. Also, EVERYONE needs to bring me a COPY of your UP TO DATE budget for my review. Remember, the sooner you turn in your complete notebook the better. If you wait until the deadline your work must be perfect! If it is not, well, be prepared to write an essay on The Evils of Procrastination. Ouch! Mr. Edmonds PMMB scouts, We will, once again, attempt to have our discussion on stocks, bonds & mutual funds. Plan on being on time and prepared. We will meet in the church library. Enter by the Parish Hall, go upstairs and all the way down the hall, the library is at the very end. Please refer to my previous blog for other important information. Mr. E The spring 2013 Family Life merit badge class will have its first meeting in ONE week, on January 22th. If you are interested in earning this Eagle Required Merit Badge, you will need to do the following three things: 1)Purchase a 3-brad report folder with a clear cover. 2)Obtain a copy of the Family Life merit badge book. 3) Signup for the Family Life Blog on the Troop 17 website. - Mr. Peterson Upcoming events... February 3rd - Scout Sunday is traditionally observed. Please encourage your own religious organization to February 5th will be 2 events - A parents meeting for any parents with Scouts approaching or already a Star Scout. The focus will be Eagle requirements and projects. We will have already covered this with the Scouts during the Green Bar campout. At 7:30 pm we will have our Troop Court of Honor. Parents and others are always encouraged to attend. It will be in the Sanctuary. February 10th - Scout Sunday at St. Stephen. We will also have a bake sale that morning. More details to come.
