I will take them home with me and begin the grading process. Thank you, Mr. E From Mr. Taylor... Troop 17 has been engaged to cater the Blue and Gold Banquet for Pack 350 again. Do you older scouts still remember your B&G Banquet? This is a wonderful opportunity to recruit and we do need to recruit. The banquet is scheduled for Saturday, March 2 around 5 p.m. at the Arborlawn Methodist Church on Hulen. This is a mandatory troop event. As in the past, we will ask for donations of lasagna, though it is not required to do so. Sign-up sheets will be available soon for both the banquet and lasagna donations. Please add this date to your calendar. From Mr. Turner... Troop 17 will be running the Trinity Trails District Pinewood Derby! With Pack 350, we will be hosting the district derby on Saturday, March 9th. Racing runs from 8am - noon. After the Cub championship, we are considering having an "outlaw race" with cars from Boy Scouts. If you are interested in racing, please let me know. This event is a great opportunity for us to reconnect with Cubs from around the district. They will be Webelos and ultimately Scouts in the next year! We need people all day to help run the race. I have added a section on Merit Badges to the Troop website. You can now see all the requirements as well as other resources for Merit Badges. Please remember that you must have my permission before beginning work on a Merit Badge. Thanks and see you Tuesday night! Mr. Turner
