This Saturday, Mr. Goldthwaite will be heading out to Worth Ranch to work on the Oscar Bilger lodge. He and his team are trying hard to get everything ready in time for Worth Ranch. With only a few weekends left, he still needs additional assistance this Saturday. If you can attend, please contact him directly at 817-929-9525 or just meet him there at 8:30 am. Please mark on your calendars MAY 11th as the last formal WR work day before summer camp. We need as many people as possible to attend. Several families have also asked how we can help those impacted by the disaster in West, Texas, especially Troops in that area. I have spoken with Christopher Munoz, our BSA District Executive and he informed me that the greatest need will be donations to fund their ongoing operations. John Coyle, Longhorn Councils Scout Executive reported that with so many families impacted, their normal fundraising activities will have to take a back seat to rebuilding their community. If you are interested in donating, please drop a check off at the lodge. Checks can be made out to Troop 17 with a memo line marked "West Relief". We will collect all the funds and make one donation in the Troops name. They also have an online giving option that I will post to our website. Thank you, Mr. Turner
