I met with the staff today and there are several things they wanted to remind you... Please arrive at WR by noon on Sunday. Arriving very early (which some of you are rumored to want to do) will mean that you will be hauling your gear across the camp to our site. Everyone needs to bring at least one Nalgene - you will carry it EVERYWHERE you go. A carabineer to hook it to your belt is handy. No open toe shoes. No aerosol spray cans - that includes sun screen and bug spray. For those working on cooking MB, you will need to bring a small Coleman propane bottle(s) to run your stoves. Cooking will be limited to the kitchen that you will setup in our site. Please bring notebook paper and a self-addressed, stamped envelope to send a letter home - everyone will write at least one. Other reminders... Please be sure that you have read the poop sheet (http://www.troop17.net/docs_public/current_info.pdf). The camp address is on this sheet also (Scouts love to get letters and care packages! - just be sure to send them early). THERE ARE SEVERAL OF YOU THAT STILL DO NOT HAVE A COMPLETE MEDICAL FORM. Please be sure that you have it turned in. THERE ARE ALSO SEVERAL OF YOU THAT HAVE NOT COMPLETED A PERMISSION SLIP. I will have them at camp when you drop off your Scout.
