It feels like it was just October! Where did November go? Thank you to everyone that came out to this past weekends events - Noahs Eagle Project and the TCU Fundraiser. We sold over $10,000 in merchandise under the leadership of Levi and Mr. Vallee on Saturday. Thank you again to everyone that attended. Here is a recap of whats on the calendar this month... Tuesday, Personal Management Merit Badge will be meeting. From Mr. Edmonds... Happy Thanksgiving to PMMB scouts! I hope you all are taking advantage of the holiday by working on your requirements and keeping up with your budget. As we enter the last month of the year your budget should reflect more activity than usual, so use self-discipline when it comes to your spending and savings. We will have only two classes in December because oh the troop Christmas party on the 17th and no meeting on the 24th. We will meet Tuesday 3 December and again on the 10th. I have scheduled a guest on the 10th to discuss investing in the stock market. More about that later. Some of you guys have missed a number of meetings due to school activities. Make every attempt to come on the 3rd & especially the 10th. Bring your budgets and all the other "tools of the trade" next Tuesday. See you there at 6:30. Mr. Edmonds 817-805-3248 Tuesday, regular meeting 7:30 at the Harry R. Male Scout Lodge. Wednesday, 7:30 pm at the Harry R. Male Scout Lodge, the Troop Committee meeting. This is the business meeting of the Troop and is open to everyone. Friday, 5:30 pm...The Event...Flour Wars! The poop sheet is posted online. This is the 17th annual Flour Wars. Troop alumni are invited to come out and help us celebrate this momentous event! *** A word about the weather - please be sure that you have gear appropriate for the weather...and bring it! The current forecast for Palo Pinto is calling for a 25% chance of snow (40% chance of precipitation) and a low of 22 degrees overnight. Do not be fooled by tomorrows forecasted high of 79 degrees! This is Texas. If we can get to WR, we will still have the event. The forecast for Saturday is cold, but a low probability of precipitation (<10%). We will watch the forecast closely as we get closer to Friday *** Thank you, Mr. Turner
