Happy Friday everyone! Here are some important calendar notes... Saturday, 9am - 10:30 the Environmental Science MB class will be meeting in the park just down the hill from the Scout Lodge. Also tomorrow, I will be at the Scout Lodge during the Env. Science MB (9a-1030) and can do Scoutmaster conferences. I will not be at Scouts on Tuesday so this is a good opportunity for anyone that is on my list, or is ready. May 2-4, OA Ordeal Weekend for OA candidates. More information at http://www.longhorncouncil.org/Program/Order-of-the-Arrow.aspx. May 4, 2:00 pm - Eagle Court of Honor for Jacob Mallison. All Scouts and families are invited to attend. THIS IS THE LAST CAMPOUT BEFORE SUMMER CAMP! How much do you have left to become a Tenderfoot Scout? May 18 - Greyson Bogle is looking for Scouts to volunteer to help with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundations 5k race at Six Flags Over Texas. Please contact him directly. This will count towards service hours for anyone needing them. May 25, 2:00 pm - Eagle Court of Honor for Noah Mathe and Adam Turner. All Scouts and families are invited to attend. June 22-28 - Summer Camp at Worth Ranch - the Big Adventure - register online at http://www.troop17.net/management/register.asp?e=482. IS YOUR HEALTH FORM UP TO DATE? Everyone must have a form signed by a physician within the last 12 months (this does necessarily mean that they need a doctors visit - send the form to your physicians office now and see if they will complete it based on the most recent checkup).
