It was a great day today. We woke up to storms blowing through the camp early this morning. That brought cool weather most of the day. It was a win-win situation...the area desperately needed the rain and we did not bake in the heat. We received several letters today - keep them coming. Thursday night is parents night - times will be announced tomorrow. I strongly encourage families to carpool as parking here will be a premium. Wear sensible shoes as it will be quite a walk to the campfire. Experienced parents will bring something to sit on to insulate against the hot rocks.
