Hello Americans, this is Paul Harvey. Stand by for NEWS!...ok, its not Paul Harvey, its Mr. Turner... Thank you to everyone that participated in the first ever "Troop 17 Day of Service". We had several events last Saturday and I know the organizations we worked with very much appreciated our support. Merit Badge Notes The Family Life Merit Badge will not meet formally this week, but I am sure that everyone is very anxious to show off all of your progress! So please bring your notebooks and show me how you are doing: 1.) Requirements one & two 2.) your Family Meeting 3.) your Personal Project 4.) your Family Project 5.) AND the chore lists that you have completed so far. - See you Tuesday. Thanks - Mr. Peterson For anyone who started the Architecture Merit Badge but hasnt completed it, we will have a make-up session this Tuesday. We will meet at 6:45pm on May 12th, before our regular troop meeting. Bring your workbook, a pencil and a level attitude. -Mr. Peterson OA Members The Order of the Arrow is 100 years old! As part of the celebration, the OA is allowing you a special award. The Arrowman Service Award is a self-paced achievement designed to engage Arrowmen of all ages in the exploration of the Order of the Arrows 100th anniversary. This award patch can be worn at the top of your sash. But this award can only be earned this year 2015. If you are interested, please contact Mr. Rekieta or Mr. Peterson.
