Reminder today at 1:00 pm, the Philmont Crews will be meeting at the Scout lodge for a short practice hike. More information at http://www.troop17.net/management/blogreader.asp?b=15. Wednesday, February 3rd is our monthly Troop Committee meeting. It is open to anyone wishing to attend. This is the "business meeting" of the Troop. Friday, February 12th is our Backpacking Campout at Lake Texoma. *NEW* Sunday, February 21st is Scout Sunday at St. Stephen. More information on times and the events planned next week. The first Sunday in February is traditionally Scout Sunday. I would encourage you to visit with your religious institution to see how you can celebrate Scoutings 106th birthday in the United States there. This is also a good recruiting opportunity for you. *NEW* Saturday, March 5th, Pack 350 has asked us to cater their Blue and Gold Banquet again this year. More information on that as it is finalized. Another good recruiting opportunity. *CHANGED* Friday, March 18th is now our March campout. This is a date change from the original calendar. We had a secret destination planned but it was featured in the Star Telegram this morning so we think the secret may be out. More information on our destination as it is re-confirmed. June 19-26 is Summer Camp at the Big Adventure! Please make sure your calendars are marked for this annual event. We will need to know who is attending in the next 3 weeks or so. More information on that will be sent separately. After some work, we have photos available on the Troop website again. Photos from 2002 to 2008 have been uploaded as well as a portion of the current photos. Over the next couple of weeks we will be able to upload the recent photos thanks to the efforts of the Towle family. Keep an eye on the troop website for more albums to be added.
