We had a great campout this past weekend! Saturday almost all our canoes brought home awards in the Longhorn Council canoe races: In the 100-150 pound youth division, Colin and James won 1st place, Elliot and Matthew won 2nd place, and Sam L. and Sam T. won 3rd place. In the 150+ pound division, Jackson and Oscar won 1st place. In the adult men division, Mr. X and Mr. Y, aka Mr. Turner and Mr. Key won 2nd place. Overall youth, James and Colin won 1st place and Jackson and Oscar won 3rd. Overall adults, Mr. X and Mr. Y won 2nd place. Overnight Saturday, we experienced a little weather - over 4 inches of rain! Everyone survived and we packed up quickly and headed back to Fort Worth. A HUGE thank you to Mr. Peterson and Mr. Key for leading this campout with me. One reminder: Environmental Science MB will meet tonight at 6:30 pm at the Scout Lodge. See you tonight, Mr. Turner
