September is a busy month this year with something happening every weekend (3 TCU home games plus a camp out). How do you keep up? Ask your Scout? Have them write things down? Check http://www.troop17.net/calendar.asp every day? In this electronic age, one of the easiest ways to keep up to date is by subscribing to our calendar. One of the reasons we chose to use a Google calendar was the ability to subscribe to receive updates. From most calendaring programs (including Outlook) and smart phones (including the iPhone), you can simply subscribe to this URL for updates: https://www.google.com/calendar/ical/scoutmaster%40troop17.net/public/basic.ics Follow the instructions for your device or program to subscribe (your device will regularly access this URL to check for updates and automagically add them to your calendar). From our side, we will do everything possible to keep the calendar up to date with a minimal number of changes once dates are set. As a bonus we have already posted a "save the date" entry in July for our Summer 2017 trip to Scotland! Thanks, Mr. Turner
