Yes, it is that special time of year when the troop recharters with the national Boy Scout organization. The dues we pay to the BSA cover insurance, camp operations, high adventure bases maintenance, and support for 280 local councils, including our own Longhorn Council. Even though the BSA dues have increased twice in the past 7 years, the Troop Committee elected to keep our dues flat once again. Dues for Scouts are $35. Dues for registered adults are $25. We would like all dues to be paid by December 13th. Scouts can bring cash or check in an envelope with their name on it and put it in the drop box in the office. Thanks, Mr. Turner
