Congratulations Troop 17! After spending a short time on the wait list, we have now been assigned slots for Philmont 2018! Our arrival date in Philmont will be July 12, 2018 and we will depart July 24, 2018 (add a day on either side for travel). We have reservations for two crews. This is a minimum of 14 people including 4 adults. We can take up to 24 people. We must, however, pay a deposit to hold our slots by the end of January. I know that July 12, 2018 sounds like it is years away but we really do have to plan this far in advance for the trip. We will email those families with Scouts that are eligible to attend (1st Class and 14 years of age Jan. 1, 2018) directly. Philmont high adventure base is truly one of the pinnacles of the Scouting experience and I strongly encourage everyone consider attending. Mr. Turner
