T17 - End of Year Donations posted 12/31/16

As the calendar year ends, some of you may find yourself in search of a place to make your final charitable donations for tax year 2016. If you are in this situation, donations can be made today to Troop 17 and/or the Harry Male Youth Foundation online at http://www.troop17.net/donate. If you would like to earmark your donation for anything in particular, like camp scholarships, transportation, or the building fund, simply note that in the special instructions section. Unfortunately, money cannot be earmarked for a specific scout and still be considered a donation. As always, consult your tax adviser for additional questions on charitable giving.
