Hello to Friends & Families of Troop 17, Next month will be the Longhorn Councils campaign for Friends of Scouting (FOS). They are trying a slightly different tactic this year. FOS will be tied to our annual recharter and the big push will be in February. I have received our packet and my instructions to set up a special website specific to FOS. Next week I will send out another e-mail with details. What is the same this year is the importance of our contribution to this campaign. Some of you who have made pledges in the past may already be receiving e-mails from the LHC about FOS. I ask that you wait just a bit before making your 2017 pledge until I get back with you.
