T17 - Camping Update posted 03/03/17

While it is beautiful and sunny here today, the forecast for Llano, Texas tomorrow is a 96% chance of rain. During any amount of rain, the Texas Parks Department closes the Enchanted Rock Nature Area because of the extremely slippery conditions on the rock formation. With a 4 hour drive ahead of us, having to pay for campsites, admission to the nature area, and a very high probability of a short day on the mountain, we are going to change our camp out location for this weekend. Instead of the Hill Country, we will be going to WORTH RANCH. We do expect rain here also so please be prepared. We will have to look at going to Enchanted Rock again in the fall. Mr. Turner
